Irish Blackthorn Walking Stick with Hawthorn Head – Druid Range Gloss Finish

A distinctive handcrafted Irish walking stick from my Druid Range, made from Irish blackthorn and finished with a characterful hawthorn head.

The shaft has been given a deep piano-gloss black finish, creating a striking dark appearance that really brings out the rugged character of the natural wood. The handle is finished in a dark brown, giving the stick a subtle contrast while keeping the overall look dark, traditional and understated.

One of the most interesting features is the lower section of the shaft, where there are numerous natural knuckles and raised marks left where thorns once grew. Rather than removing all of these natural features, they have been retained to give the stick its distinctive texture and character. Every one is slightly different, making this a genuinely individual piece.

The combination of the blackthorn shaft, dark brown hawthorn head and natural knuckled lower section gives this stick a strong woodland and Celtic-inspired character, fitting perfectly within the Druid Range.
