Thank you for your interest in Irish Walking Sticks (IrishWalkingSticks.com). All walking sticks are carefully prepared and packaged to help ensure they arrive safely.

Dispatch Times

Items are usually dispatched on the next working day after purchase.

Working days are Monday to Friday only. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or UK Bank Holidays.

If alterations are requested, such as shortening a walking stick or other custom adjustments, dispatch times may be longer. Customers will be notified where possible if this is the case.

UK Delivery

Orders within the United Kingdom are sent using Parcelforce 24 hour delivery service where possible.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Ireland Delivery

Orders to Ireland may be posted from within Ireland where practical. This helps reduce delivery time and avoid unnecessary customs delays where possible.

International Delivery (Including USA and Other Countries)

International orders are sent using Parcelforce Global Priority or similar tracked international delivery services.

Delivery times vary depending on destination country and customs processing times.

Customs Duties, Taxes and Import Charges

Some countries, including the United States, may allow certain duties or taxes to be prepaid at the time of shipping where applicable.

However, many countries require customers to pay import duties, VAT, taxes, or handling charges before delivery can be completed. This includes, but is not limited to, countries such as Switzerland, Norway, Canada, EU member states, and other international destinations.

If customs authorities in the destination country request payment of duties, VAT, taxes, or fees, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Irish Walking Sticks (IrishWalkingSticks.com) is not responsible for any additional customs charges requested after dispatch.

Failure to Pay Customs Charges

If a customer refuses to pay customs charges or fails to collect an item from customs, and the parcel is returned to Irish Walking Sticks (IrishWalkingSticks.com), the original postage costs will not be refunded.

Any additional return postage charges incurred may also be deducted from any refund issued.

Irish Walking Sticks (IrishWalkingSticks.com) is not responsible for items delayed, held, or returned due to unpaid customs charges.

Lost or Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged, customers should contact us as soon as possible with details and photographs where possible.

If an item appears lost in transit, please contact us so that tracking enquiries can be made.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is correct.

If an item is returned due to an incorrect address, failure to collect, or refusal to pay customs charges, postage costs will not be refunded and additional postage may be required to resend the item.
