Druid Range – Glossy Black Hawthorn Walking Stick with Blackthorn Knob Head

A striking handcrafted walking stick from my Druid Range, combining a glossy black hawthorn shank with a natural blackthorn knob-style head.

At 41 inches tall and weighing 665 grams, this stick has a strong, traditional character with a distinctive country feel. The blackthorn head has been left in a rich brown finish, creating a great contrast against the deep glossy black shaft.

The knob-style head gives this stick a subtle nod towards the traditional Irish shillelagh form, while still being designed and presented as a walking stick. It has a bold, almost old-world appearance that fits perfectly with the character of the Druid Range.

The hawthorn shaft has been carefully prepared and finished in yacht varnish, giving it a deep glossy appearance while helping to protect the wood. The natural brown blackthorn head complements the black shaft beautifully and gives the stick plenty of character.
