A beautiful example of traditional Irish craftsmanship, this genuine Irish Blackthorn shillelagh has been handcrafted by me in Ireland from naturally grown Blackthorn.

At 29 inches long and weighing 700 g, this is a substantial piece with a lovely solid feel in the hand. The natural character of the Blackthorn gives every shillelagh its own individual appearance, making each one completely unique.

The wood has been carefully shaped, prepared and finished by hand before being given a protective yacht varnish finish. This enhances the natural character of the Blackthorn while providing a durable, hard-wearing finish.
