Irish Birch Walking Stick with Spalted Beech Handle & Paddock Spacer

A beautifully crafted Irish birch walking stick combining a naturally characterful birch shaft with a distinctive spalted beech handle.

The spalted beech brings plenty of natural colour and figuring to the handle, while the paddock spacer provides a rich contrast between the handle and shaft.

At 42.5 inches long, this is a comfortable size for everyday walking, countryside strolls and general outdoor use. Lightweight at just 364g, it has a natural feel in the hand while still offering a solid, dependable walking stick.

As with all my sticks, this is individually handcrafted, allowing the natural character of the timber to remain part of the finished piece.
