Irish holly shillelagh style walking stick the ash burl handle

This handcrafted Irish holly walking stick features a darker, naturally patterned holly shank paired with a striking ash burl handle. The holly has warm cream and brown tones with subtle smoky markings, giving it a richer look than typical pale holly. The ash burl handle shows beautiful swirling grain and natural figure, adding real character and contrast.

 

Cut, seasoned and finished using traditional Irish methods, this stick combines rare Irish holly with a highly figured burl handle for a unique one‑off piece. Just over 37 inches (94 cm) in length and 672 g (1.48 lb), it’s a solid, well‑balanced walking stick with strong colour, natural pattern and the feel of true Irish craftsmanship.
