The Leinster: US$99
The secret of a good stick is in its shape. In Rousillon,
France, walking sticks are grown not made. Little trees are
pruned and shaped in such a manner as to leave straight shafts and
comfortable handles. When they are ready, they are simply dug
up and sent to the factory for finishing.
In Ireland we do things slightly differently as we don't have the
space to grow fields of walking sticks. The Leinster is every
bit as good as its Gallic counterpart but you won't have to wait 10
or 15 years for it to grow.
